Before you can take the practical driving test, you must take the theory test. This comprises of 50 multi choice questions and a hazard perception test.
To pass the theory test you must have a minimum pass rate of 43 out of 50.
To pass the hazard perception section you must have a minimum pass rate of 44 out of 75. In this section you will watch 14 video clips where you click where you think the hazard is. Be aware that one video clip will have two hazards, so make sure you concentrate on each video clip until the end.

Once you have passed your theory test, you have 2 years to take your practical test. If you have not taken your practical test in the timeframe, you will have to re-take the theory test.
